We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books on My Fall 2026 To-Read List. I’m not a bit TBR girlie as I just pick books up on a whim, and I probably won’t be reading 10 books this fall. But I will make a list of books I would love to read this fall, so let’s jump in!

1. Threshing Day – Rebecca Yarros

I really like the Fourth Wing series (I can’t call it the other name, it’s too hard for me hahaha), so obviously I want to read Threshing Day. Hopefully I can pick it up as soon as it releases next week.

2. A Court of Splintered Harmony – Sarah J. Maas

I’m almost done with my reread and then I’ll be all ready for this wonderful new release. Or at least as ready as I can be haha. I’m really excited for this release and I’m pretty sure I will start reading this as soon as I have the book in my hands!

3. Dangerous Impulses – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Another really excited release! I adored the Naturals series when I read it years ago. So you might get my excitement when this new instalment was announced. These characters are wonderful and I really liked the story, hopefully this will be just as good as the previous books.

4. The Last King of Fairie – Cassandra Clare

I truly have been looking forward to this release for years and years. Kit and Ty were my favorite characters in the previous trilogy and I was so excited to know we would get their trilogy. Now it’s finally time for their story. This is also probably the start of the end for the Shadowhunters and I’m really curious about the way this will all end.

5. Victorious – V.E. Schwab

Another release that had me waiting for years! I really like this series by V.E.Schwab and I’m super excited for this release. Basically all of V.E. Schwab books are exciting and I have read almost all of them (and loved them). This will be the end of this story and I’m sure it will be bittersweet.

6. Turncloak – L.K. Steven

I really enjoyed Silvercloak last year and with that ending I needed Turncloak right away. It was such a roller coaster of an ending and I’m so curious how everything is going to play out in this sequel.

7. Tempest – Victoria Aveyard

I got a physical copy in Paris last week and I’m really excited to jump in. Victoria Aveyard wrote some wonderful books and this being an adult pirate fantasy sounds amazing. I followed her process on TikTok and it’s great to now have the physical book in my hands.

8. This Story Might Save Your Life – Tiffany Crum

Another book I bought in Paris. I was excited about this one because it’s about 2 people who have a podcast together. Since I’m an avid podcast listener this sounds like a book I might really enjoy. It’s a mystery/thriller and I haven’t read nearly enough of those these past couple of years.

9. Bloodwitch – Susan Dennard

This one has been on so many of my TBR’s and someday I will actually read it. I have high hopes and I’m scared it won’t live up to them haha. The first books in the series are amazing and I just really hope this one won’t disappoint.

10. Apprentice to the Villain – Hannah Nicole Maehrer

Another one that has been on multiple TBR lists. I loved the first book in this series and I had so much fun. This truly was a laugh out loud book with a thrilling cliffhanger. I just know this one will also be really funny and I’m glad the next 2 books are already out.
