We still have about two weeks left in September, but I’ve already started thinking about some things I want to read in October. We are getting to the darker months, so even though I read a lot already, the next few months tend to give me just a little extra reading time.
Keep on reading if you want to read what I’m putting on my October TBR. Like I’ve said before, these are fun to make, but if I actually read these books is a different story, haha.

With All My Haunted Heart – Isabel Sterling
It’s October, so I had to choose a cozy witchy romance for my swoonalong read! I love that the synopsis describes that she was hired to “ethically” haunt a small town B&B. With All My Haunted Heart sounds like a book I’m going to enjoy!
The Merciless Ones – Namina Forna
This month we’re reading The Gilded Ones in my series slayers group. Which means we’ll be reading book two in October. Since I haven’t started The Gilded Ones yet, I won’t read the synopsis of this one until I’m done with the first book.
eARCs
I have so many eARCs for the month of October. I’m very grateful, but I’ll also say it’s a bit overwhelming. Part of me was expecting my reading to be back to normal by now, but I’ll see what I can do this month. Here are a few of them I’m really excited about!
Once, Again, Always – Amanda Gayle
A second chance romance where our FMC wakes up and doesn’t remember the last six years and has married someone she can’t stand is a synopsis I know is going to be a great time! The cover also helped selling me on wanting to read this book.
It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder – Ally Carter
The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year was such a fun time and I’m very excited that Ally Carter decided to give us more in this world. A childhood enemies to lovers with a bit of a cat and mouse situation going on sounds like it’s going to be a great time.
Once in a Timeline – Iman Hariri-Kia
I read and loved Female Fantasy by this author, so I couldn’t say no when I was offered an eARC of Once in a Timeline. Our main character gets stuck in her own “day in the life” video. And a mysterious stranger has to help her out. That is always a premise that I enjoy, so I’m excited to dive in.
Physical TBR/Backlist
Innamorta – Ava Reid
I’d say darker and colder days call for books with magic, necromancy, and just darker themes. Innamorta is a book I know gets pretty dark and some people either love it or don’t. It’s time to find out where I fall in this one.
The Ending Writes Itself – Evelyn Clarke
A mystery on an island with six authors and seventy-two hours to write something that could change their life. I know there’s stuff going on with this whole situation. I’m excited to find out what!
Sawyer – Jessica Peterson
After loving Wyatt, it’s time for me to continue the series. Sawyer is up next. We’re getting a single parent romance this time around. I know it’s going to be fun after the little taste we got of this one in the second book.
