We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I feel like my life lately has been about work and my horses haha. There hasn’t been much room or energy for anything else unfortunately. The one highlight of late was my mum’s 70th birthday. I hosted a lunch for her with her friends and it was really fun. We had great food and lovely company!

I have one new eARC to share with you all; Mothsblood by Lynn D. Jung. This fantasy novel is set at an alchemical university in Paris and that sounds like an awesome setting to me.

I still haven’t been reading that much unfortunately. But since my last Royal Update I have finished Babel and I reread The Assassin’s Blade (yes, I’m at it again haha). I also started a reread of Dune, so I can finally read Dune Messiah and get ready for the third movie in December!

After seeing the trailer for Dune Part 3, I had to rewatch the first Dune movie haha. What a masterpiece, I can’t wait for the final one! I have also been watching the latest season of Will Trent, such an underrated show!

After seeing Florence + The Machine live, I just want to keep on listening to the songs over and over again. It was such a cool experience and I just adore these songs.
