It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?

Children of Fallen Gods – Carissa Broadbent
The Daughter of No Worlds series is one I’ve been curious about for quite some time and I just finished the second book, Children of Fallen Gods. I will say that this book started off a bit slow for me, but I did end up enjoying it. When everything came together at the end, I couldn’t put it down. I definitely couldn’t have predicted a few of the twists. I’m curious to see how it’s all going to wrap up.

No Matter What – Cara Bastone
Since No Matter What released, I’ve read some mixed reviews. After reading it, I can understand why. A lot of what’s going on between this married couple is miscommunication. That’s not something I normally enjoy at all, but I could really understand it in this setting. I enjoyed seeing these characters grow close again, learn more about their pasts, and see them find their way. Cara Bastone is really becoming one of my favorite authors.
What are you currently reading?

The Book Witch – Meg Shaffer
All of us bookworms would love to be able to dive into our favorite fictional stories and The Book Witch is definitely bringing that dream alive. Our main character can jump into fictional worlds when a story is being threatened or make a character go back to their book. I’m about halfway through and I’m having a great time. It’s a bit cheesy at time, but it works in this story.

Wild Reverence – Rebecca Ross
A friend and I are doing a buddy read of Wild Reverence and we’re about 150 pages in and this book is so good. The writing pulls you in from the start and it’s so beautiful. I already know that this book is going to hit me in all the feels.
What do you think you’ll read next?

The Wings That Bind – Briar Boleyn
I’m devouring the Bloodwing Academy series and loving it! I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I do. This story is just so addicting and I’m glad I waited to read until I could read the first three back to back. I’m also very thankful the fourth book releases later this year.

The Second Death of Locke – V.L. Bovalino
The Second Death of Locke is a book I’ve been seeing everywhere since it released. This week a couple of friends and I will be reading this in the Discord book club I’m a member of. A romance between a knight and their mage? Sounds good to me!
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
