Today it’s time for my first TBR of 2024! In a few days it’ll be January, so I want to talk about the books I’m hoping to read. If you’re not new here, you know I don’t always complete my TBRs. I follow my mood or get distracted, haha. For now though, here are the books I’m hoping to read in January 2024!
I’m very bad at following TBRs, but there are so many books on my shelves that I’m excited to read, but just haven’t gotten around to. One of my goals next year is to really tackle my physical books. So I’ve decided to make a 24 books to read in 2024 list. I’ll make this a two part list though, because 24 books in one post is a bit much! I’ve been saying this quite a bit since we entered the last few months of the year, but I can’t believe it’s time to start talking about my reading goals for next year. I won’t be discussing how I did this year, because that’s a post that will be online in January. So for now, keep on reading for my 2024 reading goals!
How am I already talking about my December TBR? The last TBR of 2023! I’ve said it often, but this year went by so quickly. As you know, I don’t always stick to my the TBRs I make, but it’s fun talking about the books I want to read at the moment. Every year there’s a Goodreads Choice Awards and the first round recently started. I was surprised to see that I haven’t read many of the books nominated this year. A lot are on my TBR, so I’ve decided to talk about a couple of books from each category I read from I hope to pick up soon.

Not too long ago Isabelle made a post about books that she plans on pre-ordering. I thought this was a fun idea, because I plan on ordering a few of my most anticipated 2024 releases. Next year I’m going to try and focus more on my backlist and only get what I know I’m reading right away!
