WWW Wednesday #69

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

TTT #356 | Books That Provide a Much-Needed Escape

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books That Provide a Much-Needed Escape. I think all books provide an escape but there are definitely books that make escaping easier! It was difficult picking books that really fit this prompt, but I tried my best, so let’s jump in. Continue reading “TTT #356 | Books That Provide a Much-Needed Escape”

Down the TBR Hole #134

Since my last Down the TBR Hole post, I’ve read one book from my want to read shelf. It’s not a lot, but it’s something!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Bookish Item| Series Slaying September

I only work a total of four days in September, and I’ve been trying to think of a reading challenge for myself. Last year I did 30 books in 30 days. I was thinking about that again, but I’ve already accomplished that a few times on my own this year.

If you’ve read my TBRs, you know I host a series slayers read with a friend, and finishing series is always a goal for me. So I’ve decided to also try and do more of this during my time off. So I’ll be trying to slay some series in September.
