We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

We’re getting really close to the Christmas break and I am so ready for it. I have been sick for the past week but it was the worst time to be sick at work so I just powered through. That did result in me still being a bit sick and also extremely tired. Just 4 more days of work though, so I’m almost there. A week and a half ago we had Sinterklaas and I got the most wonderful ‘surprise’, I actually hung it up in my living room as you can see from the picture haha (juf is what we call a female teacher here).

I have one new eARC; The Reaper by Jackson P. Brown. The cover definitely drew me in and then after seeing an interesting synopsis I just couldn’t resist.

I finished both Ruthless Fae and Kingdom of Ash. At the moment I’m reading The Reckoning, but I’m still debating which audiobook I should pick up next. I’m definitely open to recommendations!

After finishing the Lincoln Lawyer, I got into FBI. I watched the first couple of episodes when this series first aired, but I’m now trying to catch up. Partly because I wanted to see FBI International and I couldn’t not watch the original. I’m almost done with season 2 so I’m doing pretty well I would say.

Spotify Wrapped is here! How did yours turn out? I’m pretty proud to say I was in the top 0,5% for my number 1 artist and top 0,1% for my most listened to song. Can’t say I was really surprised about any of it haha.
