Show Sunday | Sex Education

When I opened Netflix about a week or 2 ago, I saw this new show; Sex Education. I wasn’t to sure about watching this, but I did want to see the trailer after I came across the series a couple of times. Turned out, the trailer looked hilarious! A couple of my friends already watched the show and based on their recommendation I decided to go for it. So let’s see what I thought about this show! Continue reading “Show Sunday | Sex Education”

Buddy Review | Ice Like Fire – Sara Raasch

Since this is the sequel to Snow Like Ashes, there will be some spoilers for that first book. Read on at your own risk!

Bookish Item | Series I Want to Finish in 2019

A little bit later than planned but in this bookish item I want to show you all some of the series I would like to finish this year. I made a spreadsheet of all the series I’m currently reading, or better said, the series I started but never completed. There are over 60 series I have started that I also plan on finishing. This year one of my reading goals is once again to finish 12 series. So let’s take a look at a couple of the series I plan on finishing this year. I only mention 6 because I know I won’t be able to stick to 12 pre set series, but these have priority! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Series I Want to Finish in 2019”

Tag | 90’s Kid Book Tag

It’s Thursday, so it’s time for a new bookish tag. I was looking around some blogs I follow and stumbled upon the 90’s Kid Book Tag. Nose Stuck in a Book did this tag (definitely check out her blog, she’s great) and she found this tag on Berries & Books.

I was born at the end of the 80’s, so most of my childhood was in the 90’s. It’s fun answering questions related to things I’ve forgotten about! Let’s take a look!

Blog Tour | Cruel Money – K.A. Linde

Earlier today I posted my review for One Cruel Night, the prequel to Cruel Money. Once I read the prequel, I knew this was going to be a series I couldn’t put down. Did I still think that after reading this book? Let’s find out!

First I have to thank Inkslinger PR and the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Review| One Cruel Night – K.A. Linde

Last year I discovered the author K.A. Linde and loved everything I read by her. This year she’s releasing a new series, Cruel. The first book Cruel Money is out today and my review will be posted this afternoon as a part of the blog tour.

K.A. Linde surprised us all though when she released the novella, One Cruel Night, for free. One Cruel Night is the prequel for this series. I decided to read this one before diving in to my ARC of Cruel Money, so I wanted to share my review of this before the book this afternoon.

Review| Illegally Yours – Kate Meader

It’s not even the end of the first month of the year and I’ve already discovered a few new authors. One of these authors is Kate Meader. Today her newest book, Illegally Yours, is out now. Thanks to the publisher and author, I received an ARC to read and review.

Blog Tour | The Birds, The Bees & You and Me – Olivia Hinebaugh

The Birds, The Bees & You and Me is a story that spoke to me after reading the summary. When I was in high school, we only had abstinence only sex-ed. I think it’s important that teenagers know how to protect themselves. Unfortunately, not all teenagers are educated at home either. This book is important. It teaches about how to protect yourselves, standing up for what you want, how important consent is and also has a really sweet love story!

Thanks to the author, publisher and Xpresso book tours, I received an ARC to read and review!

TTT #63 | Books I Meant to Read in 2018 But Didn’t

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Meant to Read in 2018 But Didn’t. And there are A LOT of books I meant to read last year haha. Most of these are 2018 releases I think, and all are books I do already own. I have an insane amount of unread books and obviously I wish I had read all of them in 2018 but that was never going to happen. So these are all books I really planned on reading last year. Hopefully this is the year I will get to them! Continue reading “TTT #63 | Books I Meant to Read in 2018 But Didn’t”

Blog Tour | The Princess of Baker Street – Mia Kerick

The Princess of Baker Street is a book like I’ve never read before. I have read quite a few books, but nothing as beautifully hearbreaking as this one. I think this author did an amazing job with something as sensitive as this! Thanks to Xpresso Book Tours, the author and publisher for providing me an ARC to read and review!
