Blog Tour| The Boyfriend Blog – K.L.Grayson

As a blogger, I always love when books I read have characters who either blog or love to read. That’s why The Boyfriend Blog caught my attention right away. On top of a character with a blog, the story sounded really cute. What did I think of this story? Keep reading to find out!

Also, a big thanks to the author and Social Butterfly PR for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Tag| Christmas Songs Book Tag 2019

As a big fan of Christmas, I knew I needed to do a few holiday tags in December. I’ve decided to start off with the 2019 Christmas Songs Book Tag created by That Artsy Reader Girl. Christmas music is something I’ve been listening to since the end of November. Let’s take a look at the prompts and my answers.

Wishlist Wednesday | Christmas Wishlists #2

A little while ago we shared our wishlists for the Bookish Swap we’re participating in this Christmas. We’re also doing our own little swap like we did last year, but this time we also included another friend of ours. You might know her as indie author Kara S. Weaver. Today we wanted to show you all what we put on our wishlists. Once again it was hard! This seems impossible but the moment we need to make a wishlist we both freeze haha. In the end we managed and this is what we put on our Christmas wishlists. Continue reading “Wishlist Wednesday | Christmas Wishlists #2”

TTT #109 | Authors That Deserve More Recognition

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a freebie so I looked through some of the old topics and found one I wanted to do! As you might’ve seen from the title, I picked Authors That Deserve More Recognition. Around the holidays (and actually always) I think it’s nice to spread the love! So let’s look at some authors I think deserve more recognition. Looking Back At Our Bookhauls | November 2018

Our November bookhaul this year was a lot bigger than we wanted it to be, haha. With Christmas almost upon us we know we’ll get a ton of books so we try to slow down in the months before. Last year we both managed to keep our bookhaul small, but the big question now is; did we actually read the books this time? Lets take a look at our November 2018 Bookhaul! Down the TBR Hole #23

Seeing how I keep adding new books to my Goodreads TBR, I decided to did this just a little more often than I have before. It’s been a month since my last Down the TBR Hole and I’ve added 15 books to my want-to-read shelf.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started! Continue reading “Down the TBR Hole #23”

Review | S.T.A.G.S – M.A. Bennett

After finally reading and loving This Is Our Story I was in the mood to read another mystery with a hunting component in it. And I just happened to own S.T.A.G.S. With a tagline like this; Nine students. Three bloodsports. One deadly weekend. I knew it would be exactly what I wanted to read. Did I love it as much as This Is Our Story? Or was is a bit of a disappointment? Keep on reading and find out!

Unboxing| Illumicrate – In Search Of Doors

If you’ve been following us for a little while, you know I’ve gotten the Illumicrate a few times this year. I love their boxes and they’re not too expensive either. Their November box In Search of Doors, originally sold out before I could get my hands on one, but a friend of mine was able to grab one for me when the last few became available.

I received my box at the end of last week and want to show everyone what’s inside. If you don’t want to read any spoilers, stop reading now. If you want to know what’s inside, keep on reading!

Blog Tour| Beard Necessities – Penny Reid

After the heartbreaking story in Beard With Me, I couldn’t wait for the next book in this series to see how their story would play out. Part of me was kind of afraid to read this one after how Beard With Me went, but I’m happy I picked it up!

A big thanks to the author and Social Butterfly PR for providing me with an ARC to read and review.
