Bookish Item| Goodreads Choice Awards 2023 TBR

Every year there’s a Goodreads Choice Awards and the first round recently started. I was surprised to see that I haven’t read many of the books nominated this year. A lot are on my TBR, so I’ve decided to talk about a couple of books from each category I read from I hope to pick up soon.

As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

As a big fan of romance and illustrated covers I was very intrigued when I saw the sign up for The Godparent Trap. The synopsis sounded a bit like the movie Life as We Know It and that was something I enjoyed. I read The Godparent Trap is just about one sitting, so that’s always a good sign.
