5 On My TBR | Title Starting with an ‘S’

Besides keeping track of my digital TBR I thought it’d be a good idea to keep on an eye on my physical TBR as well. We found a fun weekly meme to do this: 5 On My TBR. This meme is hosted by Local Bee Hunter’s Nook.

This week’s theme is Title Starting with an ‘S’. So I went on my Goodreads and looked through my shelves. Turns out I had a lot more books for this than I thought I would. I picked 5 but also put some as honorable mentions haha. Let’s jump in!

Sabriel – Garth Nix

I read a book in this series years ago without realising it was a prequel. It was a really enjoyable read and it got me interested in the world and the rest of the story. So I immediately got Sabriel, and never read it. I’m still interested in this even though it might be pretty dated now.

Shadow Run – Adrianne Strickland & Michael Miller

I’m very interested in reading this one, it’s quite sad I still haven’t picked it up. This is a sci-fi and I’ve been really enjoying those lately and seem to always be in the mood for them. I also have quite a couple to choose from so that doesn’t help but a friend read and loved this one.

Save the Date – Morgan Matson

I really like Morgan Matson’s work and can’t wait to read this. This is perfect for a spring read, light and fun and probably a quick read as well. I love this cover and with 3 weddings coming up this year I feel like this would be the perfect time to pick it up.

Space Opera – Catherynne M. Valente

Just thinking about this book makes me want to put my current book down. Like I said, I’m basically always in the mood for sci-fi and a space opera is probably my favorite subgenre. I think this is going to be awesome and I need to read it soon! Hopefully this is my final nudge to pick it up.

Strange Grace – Tessa Gratton

This sounds like an amazing book and I have read such good reviews for it. I think it’s something I would really enjoy and I will definitely pick up more Tessa Gratton books if it turns out I like this one. They don’t seem to be for everyone but I have high hopes!

Honorable Mentions

Sawkill Girls // Skyward // Spinning Silver // Scythe // Strange the Dreamer // Sleeping Giants // Spellslinger // Ship It // Solitaire // Seraphina

I couldn’t help but add these 10 as well haha. There were even more but these were the ones I’m most excited about! Some of them even more than the books I talked about but they are ones I’ve talked about recently or are really well-known. Have you read any of the books I mentioned today? Which one should I pick up first? Let me know in the comments down below!
