We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Work has been really busy these last two weeks (Easter was yesterday, so that explains a lot), so I definitely tried to relax as much as I could. I did go shopping with my mother last week and it was fun. We haven’t really gone outside of our own city often these last couple of years, so it was nice. We got cocoa at Starbucks and of course my name was spelled wrong, haha. I don’t think they’ll ever get it right on their own.

I’m grateful that I have an extra day off because of Easter, so I have a four day weekend. When this comes online I’ll be spending the day reading!

Since my last Royal Update I added 4 new ARCs on my Kindle. I’m excited about all of these!

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading Fake, Only a Monster, Anything But Fine, Man Down, Dread Wood, and Kate.

I’m currently reading Court (almost done!), The Assassin’s Blade, Say You Swear, and The Duchess Deal.

This week I plan on reading Extasia, The Spanish Love Deception, and Disguised As Love.

I don’t have any bookish news to talk about this week. I saw some cover reveals, but nothing really caught my attention enough to remember to share it here, haha.

It’s been quite some time, but I finally have something to show you in this shop log. I bought myself a Kindle Oasis as a late birthday gift. My paperwhite still works, but I love the fact that this screen is a bit bigger and the buttons on the side. I’m really glad I picked this one up.

I finally started and finished watching the second season of Bridgerton. This was such a great season and I’m already looking forward to the next one. I’m sad I’ve seen all of the episodes already.

Also, the boyfriend and I started watching Moon Knight. I’m really enjoying this one and I’m curious to see where it goes!

A few years ago I used to watch Sam Tsui on YouTube. He did quite a few covers of different songs that I really enjoyed. I don’t know what made me think of that recently, but I’ve been listening to his playlist.
