The Thursday Murder Club books have been on my radar for a while now and I have been thinking about picking them up multiple times. Seeing that there was going to be a movie with some exceptional actors was just the push I needed to finally read the first book. After finishing one show, I was looking for something else when I came across Ballard. I was intrigued because it had Maggie Q as the lead and I have loved her since Nikita (and also; now I want to rewatch Nikita) and it’s about a cold case ‘unit’.
