Buddy Review | Letters to the Lost – Brigid Kemmerer

Both of us are trying to make a dent in the amount of unread backlist books on our shelves. A fun way to do this is planning a lot of buddy reads and that’s what we decided to do with Letters to the Lost. This is a book both of us have had for quite some time and we heard it was pretty emotional. We finally read this book and want to talk about our thoughts. Keep on reading to find out more!

Mini Reviews | Riverdale: The Ties That Bind & Monstress vol. 3 & Quincredible vol. 1

I’ve been reading some graphic novels recently and I thought it would be great to do some more mini reviews for them. While I love reading graphic novels and I like to talk about them, I usually don’t have enough to say for a normal sized review. So I like to do it this way! Today I’ll be talking about 2 eARC’s and one graphic novel I owned myself. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “Mini Reviews | Riverdale: The Ties That Bind & Monstress vol. 3 & Quincredible vol. 1”

Review| The Burning Shadow – Jennifer L. Armentrout

If you’ve been following the blog you’ll know I’m a big fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout. There are only a few of her books I haven’t read yet and plan to do so eventually. The Darkest Star is a book I was lucky to get as eARC, but if I’m honest I loved my re-read the second time around even more.

After that re-read, I finally had the chance to read the second book in the Origin series, The Burning Shadow. So I finally want to tell you what I thought of this book. I’ll do my best to keep out spoilers, so it may be a shorter or a bit of a vague review! Keep on reading to find out more!

It took me a while to read it, but now that I’ve finally read A Curse of Gold of course I wanted to share my thoughts with you all. So let’s jump in! Review| The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle – Stuart Turton

At the beginning of the year, Isabelle and I chose 3 books we wanted the other to read. I finally finished the first one (and am over halfway with the second one), haha. One of the books Isabelle chose for me was The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. I ended up doing a buddy read with Ellie from Read to Ramble and it was such an interesting ride. Keep on reading to find out what I thought of this story!
