We’re near the end of the month, so it’s time to look at what I want to read in September. I’m definitely going to be very ambitious, because September 16th is my last day of work for three weeks. It’s vacation time for me, so I’m hoping to get LOTS of reading done. Keep on reading for my September TBR (which might continue a bit into October with my vacation).

Bookish Item | Recommending Jennifer Lynn Barnes Books
With The Final Gambit coming out next week I wanted to recommend some of Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ older books as I love them dearly. I have been talking about this author non stop but I just can’t help myself haha. She has written some of my favorite books and I hope they can finally get the attention they deserve. Let’s take a look! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Recommending Jennifer Lynn Barnes Books”
Netgalley Next #5
One of our reading goals is working on our Netgalley feedback ratio. Eventually we want to get it to 80%. And to help motivate us we decided to do this new post every week. We pick three of our eARC’s and based on the first line, paragraph, or page we decide which one we’ll read next. Let’s take a look at today’s picks! Continue reading “Netgalley Next #5”

Bookish Beginnings on Friday| Seton Girls – Charlene Thomas
Isabelle did a Can’t Wait Wednesday post for Seton Girls and it’s also a book I’m really interested in. I recently got the e-arc and I’ll be posting an interview with the author soon, so it’s definitely a great time to do another post for this book. We have a lot of eARC’s and we want to promote them a little bit more. So we decided to do some more Bookish Beginnings On Friday.
This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that.

Bookish Item | August TBR
How am I already talking about the books I want to read in August?!? I keep saying it, but this year is really flying by. Once again, I probably won’t stick to my TBR, but here are some books I’ll be reading for book clubs and some books and e-arcs I really want to get to! Keep on reading to find out more.
Edelweiss Next #1
So we just recently started doing weekly Netgalley Next posts and I decided to do this for another platform as well. Besides Netgalley I also use Edelweiss for e-arcs. This website doesn’t have a feedback ratio, but I still think it’s important to make sure to keep updated with these e-arcs as well.
So just like we do with Netgalley Next, I’m going to talk about 3 Edelweiss e-arcs I’m really wanting to read, read the first line/paragraph, and choose which one grabs me the most! Let’s take a look!

Bookish Item | Books I’m Planning to Read on My Vacation
