Down the TBR Hole #123

So we’re starting with the same amount of books on my want to read shelf as two weeks ago! Even though I haven’t removed any, I haven’t added any new books either. We’re also getting really close to being done with the first round of my shelf. After we finish, I’ll go back and start again. It’s been quite some time since I started these posts, so it’s time.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Bookish Item| Bookstagram Chooses My Next 4 Reads Part 7

After realizing that I was doing better with my bookstagram chooses TBR than I expected, I decided to do another post to give myself more to choose from. I’ve been mood reading more and more lately, so I like to have choices. If you missed the last post, click here for part 6! Now let’s see what the next four books on this TBR will be.

Bookish Beginnings On Friday| In a Not So Perfect World – Neely Tubati Alexander

We have a lot of eARC’s and we want to promote them a little bit more. So we decided to do some more Bookish Beginnings On Friday. Today I wanted to share the beginning of In a Not So Perfect World. Last week I talked about this book in my Can’t Wait Wednesday post, but I’m really curious about this one. Let’s take a look!

Bookish Item| April TBR

So it’s that time of month where I decide to look at the books I want to read next month. I know this is something I tend to say every month, but how is it already April?!? So before talking about my TBR, I will say that I probably won’t read all of these, but I love talking about the books I’m excited about reading.

Bookish Item | Comfort Reads

I haven’t been feeling great lately and have been reading even less this year. But I have gone back to a comfort series and have now read 3 books in 5 days! That reminded me of more comfort reads and I wanted to share some of them. I hope I can read a couple more of these in the coming weeks and finally get back to reading more. Let’s take a look!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Love Letters to a Serial Killer – Tasha Coryell

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Love Letters to a Serial Killer – Tasha Coryell”

Review| Ready or Not – Cara Bastone

Something you always hear, is don’t judge a book by its cover, but I have to say the cover for Ready or Not is the first thing the caught my attention. Look at how stunning it is! That being said, once I read the synopsis I was sold. Today I want to tell you more about this book and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more!

A big thank you to Netgalley and Dial Press for providing me with an eARC to read and review. I’m always grateful for these opportunities.

TTT #333| Books on my Spring 2024 TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is books on my Spring 2024 TBR. As you all know, I’m really bad at sticking to TBRs, but I do like talking about the books I’m hoping to read soon. So let’s take a look!
