We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
When this comes online, I’ll be back at my first day of work after having two weeks off. Those two weeks went by way too quickly!! We didn’t do too much, but it was also nice just taking time to recharge the batteries. To start off it was my birthday and we went out to dinner. That weekend we went to see friends for a nice gamenight.
The boyfriend and I also went on a little shopping trip, but it was so cold we came home after lunch and browsing a few bookstores. Last Thursday was a beautiful day and my mother and I went on a little shopping trip. The weather was amazing! It’s nice that Spring seems to be on its way!
Since my last Royal Update, I’ve received a few eARCs I’m excited about. I now have an eARC of Prime Time Romance, Only and Forever, The Stars Too Fondly, The Paradise Problem, and Truly, Madly, Deeply.
Since my last Royal Update I’ve read 19 books (I had two really productive reading weeks) and I’m not going to do all of these, haha. So I’ll talk about my last 10 reads: My Favorite Kidnapper, Perfect World Vol. 1 & Vol. 2, If I Have to Be Haunted, Ready or Not, A Sign of Affection Vol. 5, Vol. 6 & Vol. 7, Threads That Bind, and Kate (re-read).
I’m currently reading: The Sword of Kaigen, The Well of Ascension, The Crimson Moth, and What I Like About You.
Up next I’m reading: Sword Catcher, A Fate Inked in Blood, and Fangirl Down.
Since my last Royal Update, we watched Draft Day during our weekly movie night. Even though I’m not really a sports fan (except for sports romances), I really enjoyed this one.
Being off of work for two weeks definitely had me listening to music less than I normally do. So when I was listening to music, I was still listening to this 2000s mix.
