The Birds, The Bees & You and Me is a story that spoke to me after reading the summary. When I was in high school, we only had abstinence only sex-ed. I think it’s important that teenagers know how to protect themselves. Unfortunately, not all teenagers are educated at home either. This book is important. It teaches about how to protect yourselves, standing up for what you want, how important consent is and also has a really sweet love story!

The Princess of Baker Street is a book like I’ve never read before. I have read quite a few books, but nothing as beautifully hearbreaking as this one. Review| Burning for Autumn – Freya Barker
If you’ve followed the blog, you know I have read a few books by Freya Barker. Her newest book, Burning for Autumn, was released January 8th. The author was kind enough to provide me with an ARC to read and review.
I’m normally not one to give warnings, but in Burning for Autumn an animal is harmed. You don’t read it in complete detail, but it is a part of the story. Even I thought it was a bit hard to read!

Show Sunday | New Amsterdam
As a big TV show fan, of course I have a preference for the type of shows I watch. Medical dramas are something that are high on the list of favorite shows. Since the beginning, I’ve been watching Grey’s Anatomy. That’s the longest running one that I’ve watched. I also love The Good Doctor, The Resident, Code Black, Chicago Med and I’m sure I’m forgetting a few.
The Fall TV season in 2018 had a great new medical show added, New Amsterdam. I’ve been hooked from the start!

Just for Clicks by Kara McDowell was a pretty highly anticipated release for me, the synopsis sounded really interesting. And while I don’t read a lot of contemporary, this sounded like the kind of contemporary story I would enjoy. So when I got the chance to read this through Netgalley I was super excited!
