TTT #79 | Books I Need to Read So I Can Watch the Movie

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a Page to Screen Freebie and I decided to go with Books I Need to Read So I Can Watch the Movie (or tv show)! There are so many movies and tv shows based on books and I have a lot of them on my TBR / to be watched list. And today I want to show 10 of those. So let’s get into it! Blog Tour| Better Than Me – Kimberly Kincaid

After reading Hotshot Doc by R.S. Grey last year, I became interested in romances with a medical side to it. So when I heard about Better Than Me, I was pretty excited, especially because this book is also a friends to lovers romance. Today I am here to tell you about what I thought of Better Than Me and I have included a little excerpt for you to read. A big thanks to the author and Social Butterfly PR for providing me an ARC to read and review!

Down the TBR Hole #17

Wow, it’s been so long since I’ve done a Down the TBR Hole that I thought it would be a good time to do one again. My Want to Read shelf on Goodreads has increased again, so it’s time to take a look again!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started! Continue reading “Down the TBR Hole #17”

Review | The Red Scrolls of Magic – Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu

I’ve read almost all of the books in the Shadowhunters world and I really enjoy them. So when the Malec series was announced I got very excited! They’re one of my favorite couples and I’m so happy they got their own trilogy, and an adult one no less. I was once again very lucky, my audiobook subscription service had The Red Scrolls of Magic available on the release date so I started listening to it right away. And today I want to tell you what I thought about it! Beware that there might be some slight spoilers for all of the other series in the Shadowhunters word. Without further ado, let’s get into it. Bookish Item| Book Beginnings on Friday – Happy Messy Scary Love

Book Beginnings on Friday isn’t a prompt that I’ve done in awhile, so I decided to give it another go.This meme was created by Rose City Reader.

The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. I don’t know how often I will do this, but it seems like fun from time to time.
