TTT #95 | Books I Enjoyed That Are Outside of My Comfort Zone

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Enjoyed That Are Outside of My Comfort Zone. And I really like this one! I have started to pick up more books I wouldn’t normally and have been positively surprised by most of them. It’s so much fun finding a book you love when you weren’t expecting it at all! I love reading fantasy, mystery/thrillers and some historical fiction. So I’d say, almost anything outside of those genres is outside of my comfort zone haha. Let’s see which books made it to my list! Continue reading “TTT #95 | Books I Enjoyed That Are Outside of My Comfort Zone”

Blog Tour| Kiss Me Not – Emma Hart

Reading is something I’ve always loved, but I love it ever more when a book finds you just when you need it. Kiss Me Not was a book I didn’t knew I needed. This book left me with a smile on my face and a cozy feeling at the end. A big thanks to the author and Social Butterfly PR for providing me with an ARC to read and review! Keep reading for my review and a little excerpt!

Fangirl’s Favorites | Mini Disney Haul

About a week and a half ago I went to Disneyland Paris for 2 days. Together with my brother I visited my favorite place on earth for about the fifteenth time or so haha. The weather was wonderful and since it was still summer holiday time, it was quite busy. But we managed to do all the rides we wanted too and got to do a bit of shopping as well. And of course I wanted to show you what I got! I was a really good girl and hardly got anything, but I’m going back this November and I plan on getting some more then 😉 Continue reading “Fangirl’s Favorites | Mini Disney Haul”

Buddy Review| Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow – Jessica Townsend

We both really enjoy middle grade books lately and after discovering Nevermoor, we were really happy to get our hands on the sequel. Bookish Item| 20 Books I Want to Read Before 2020 Part 2

Last week Isabelle posted her 20 Books to Read Before 2020 and this got me thinking. We’re close to starting the last four months of the year and there are definitely some books I still really need to read. Since we’ve started this blog I’ve not really been good at completing my lists, but I’m giving it another go. So today is 20 Books I want to Read Before 2020 Part 2.

Tag | Pre Netflix Grishaverse Tag

A while ago it was announced that the wonderful Grishaverse was coming to Netflix! And hopefully you all know by now how much I adore the Grishaverse. So naturally I can’t wait to see the Netflix adaptation. It’s going to be so interesting to see how they bring both the original trilogy and the Six of Crows duology to the screen and I just can’t wait. I came across this Pre Netflix Grishaverse Tag and thought it would be fun to do this one myself to tie me over until we get more news <3 Continue reading “Tag | Pre Netflix Grishaverse Tag”

Review| In Her Eyes – Sophie Fahy

A fun part of blgging is having authors contact you if you want to read and review their books. Recently I had an author contact me if I wanted to read her debut book Through Her Eyes. After reading the blurb I was very intrigued. Through Her Eyes is Sophie Fahy’s debut book and releases today! Let’s take a look at what I thought of this YA mystery filled with suspense!

WARNING Through Her Eyes is an intense book that does have some trigger warnings I feel I should tell you about: sexual assault, assault and parental abuse.
