Tag | The Strictly Book Tag

Besides reading, blogging, watching a lot of TV shows, I also really love watching dance shows. From So You Think You Can Dance to Dancing with the Stars, they’re all so much fun. I recently saw that Stephen, from Stephen Writes, created The Strictly Book Tag to show love for Strictly Come Dancing. I love books and dancing shows, so I’m giving this book tag a go. Let’s take a look!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Meet Cute Club – Jack Harbon

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

TTT #124 | Spring 2020 TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is your Spring 2020 TBR. I usually don’t make a set TBR, but I do have some books I want to read in the upcoming months. Hopefully this post will remind me to actually do so ;). I picked 5 new releases I want to get to right away and 5 books I already have on my shelves. Let’s take a look at the 10 books I picked for my Spring TBR. Review| Be Not Far From Me – Mindy McGinnis

Mindy McGinnis is an author I’ve heard a lot of positive things about, but I just haven’t had the chance to pick up one of her books. That was until her newest release, Be Not Far From Me, was put on Storytel. After hearing so many amazing things about this author, I decided to listen to this audiobook. Today I’m going to give you my thoughts about this book.

Down the TBR Hole #26

Seeing how I keep adding new books to my Goodreads TBR, I decided to did this just a little more often than I have before. It’s been a month since my last Down the TBR Hole and I’ve added 13 books to my want-to-read shelf. Not bad, but definitely a reason to do a post like this again!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started! Continue reading “Down the TBR Hole #26”

Review | The Beautiful – Renee Ahdieh

I read this one a while ago but finally got around to writing down this review. Renee Ahdieh blew me away with her The Wrath and the Dawn duology so obviously I was very excited for this new series. It’s also about time that we get some new YA vampire books. Let’s see what I thought about this YA fantasy set in historical New Orleans. Continue reading “Review | The Beautiful – Renee Ahdieh”

Bookish Item| Magical Readathon 2020 TBR – Part 1

Even though I really end up failing at readathons after making a TBR, I still love trying to see how far I get. I enjoyed the winter edition of the magical readthon last December and was excited to give the O.W.L.s. a go! This readathon will take place the whole month of April and was created by Book Roast. You can find the video to this year’s readathon here.

Today it’s time for my 2020 Magical Readathon TBR. Isabelle will be posting her TBR next week, that’s why this one is part 1. Let’s take a look!
