Last week Candyce shared her part of the Mid Year Book Awards. It’s a bit like the Mid Year Freak Out Book Tag but we came up with our own prompts/questions. We enjoyed coming up with these questions and we hope you’ll enjoy our answers. Let’s jump in!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | All of Us Villains – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breakingthe Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | All of Us Villains – Amanda Foody & Christine Lynn Herman”
TTT #193| Book Titles That Are Questions
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Book Titles That Are Questions. I can only think of one right away, so this may be a tricky one. Let’s see if I get to ten books.
Book Tour| The People We Choose – Katelyn Detweiler
As a big fan of contemporary books I’ve been curious about The People We Choose. This book released earlier this year and today I’m participating in the book tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. I had the honor of interviewing the author. So keep on reading if you want to find out more about The People We Choose and the author who wrote it.

Review | The Damned – Renée Ahdieh
One of my favorite books of 2019 was The Beautiful. So I was super excited for the sequel, The Damned and so happy I got an eARC through Netgalley. It took me a while to start reading it though and it also took me a while to finish it. Last week I finally finished the book, just in time for the third book releasing in November. And today it’s time for my review, so let’s dive in.
There will be some spoilers for The Beautiful

Show Sunday | Currently Watching #2
A little while I introduced Currently Watching. Sometimes I’m not watching anything I can talk about right away but there are a couple of shows I’m into and want to share some of my thoughts about. So in Currently Watching I’ll be talking about a couple of the shows I’m currently into. Let’s jump in!

Review| Six Stories – Matt Wesolowski
I’ve recently been stepping out of my comfort zone when it comes to reading lately and the darker books have been catching my attention. When a group of friends decided to start a series book club I had to jump in. The first series we’re reading is Six Stories (same title as the first book) and I’m so glad I joined. Today I want to talk about Six Stories and what I thought. Keep on reading to find out more!
Bookish Item | Reading Goals 2021 Mid Year Update
Before 2021 started both Candyce and I set ourselves some reading goals. 2020 was not a great reading year for me so I didn’t do great on those goals. But I did set some goals for 2021 again. And since we’re half way through the year I thought it would be great to take a look and see how I’m doing so far. To be honest, I’m not completely sure which goals I set for myself so this is also a good reminder. But I do have an inkling and you could say I’m worried haha. Let’s take a look! Bookish Item| Mid Year Book Awards 2021 Part One
It’s now July and we’re halfway through 2021. We normally do the mid year freakout tag (I think that’s what it’s called), but we decided to take a different road this year. We decided to create our own mid year book awards. What books have we been loving? What books surprised us? And a few other categories as well. This week I’ll talk about my favorites and Isabelle will next week. Keep on reading to find out what books get my awards!
