I can’t believe it’s time to start thinking about 2026! We only have a few days left of the year, so I’m here to talk about my first TBR of the year. January is normally a pretty quiet month. I have a feeling I’ll be able to get quite a bit of reading done. So let’s take a look at some book on my January TBR.

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Hell’s Heart – Alexis Hall
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Hell’s Heart – Alexis Hall”
TTT #410| Books On My Winter 2025-2026 to-Read List Part 2
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books I hope Santa brings/bookish wishes. I’m not feeling that, so I’m going to do last week’s topic. Isabelle already talked about the books on her winter 2025-2026 to-read list. Now it’s my turn!

Show Sunday | Watching Old Crime Shows
Lately I’ve been watching a lot of old(er) crime shows and I’m enjoying them a lot! It’s nice to binge a show, especially one where you don’t have to pay that much attention. I also love seeing well known actors playing a suspect or a victim. It’s a lot of fun seeing them before they played a role I know them from, it might even be my favorite thing about these shows haha!

Review| Any Trope but You – Victoria Lavine
If you give me a book that has a main character who works with books in any ways, I’ll want to read that book. So when I saw Any Trope but You was about a bestselling romance author, I was sold. Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought!
A big thank you to Atria Books and Netgalley for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way.

Review| Heart Check – Emily Charlotte
Hockey romances are one of my weaknesses and I realized I don’t think I’ve read many YA hockey romances. Heart Check caught my eye and I had a feeling this was going to love this one. Let’s talk about this book and my thoughts!
A big thank you to Netgalley and Margaret K. McElderry Books for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way.
WWW Wednesday #101
It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
