WWW Wednesday #108

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What did you recently finish reading?

Books & Bewitchment – Isla Jewell

A cozy fantasy is nice every once in a while. Even more so when our main character loves books and wants to open a bookstore. I had a good time reading Books & Bewitchment, but I didn’t love it. There were so many enjoyable elements and it had me laughing. That being said, I needed more depth. Things stayed really on the surface and were solved a bit too easily. Even for a cozy fantasy. I didn’t feel invested.

Collide – Bal Khabra

Collide is a sports romance I’ve been really looking forward to reading. Unfortunately, I didn’t love it as much as I expected. While I could really understand where Summer was coming from in many ways, she annoyed me throughout most of the books. I don’t think that Aiden got the credit that he deserved.

What are you currently reading?

Training the Heart – Paisley Hope

Holding the Reins was a romance I really enjoyed and it’s taken me way too long to continue this series. At the moment, I’m about halfway through Training the Heart and I’m having a great time. Wade and Ivy are both interesting characters who have been through some stuff, but they’re slowly starting to find each other. Also, I can never resist the families written in small town romances.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Ending – Chloe Liese

Fake dating and friends to lovers? Need I say more?!? Chloe Liese is the author of one of my favorite romance series (the Bergman Brothers) and I’m so excited to read my eARC of Happy Ending. I have a feeling I’m going to have a great time.

Unloved – Peyton Corinne

I ended up loving Unsteady by this author, but still haven’t continued the series. I’m trying to be better at series in 2026. Recently a friend of mine read an eARC of Unbound (the third book in this series) and her opinion has me wanting to dive in. I’m someone who has to read series in order. Even when they’re interconnected standalones, so Unloved is up next.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
