We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
After some busy weeks I was really looking forward to getting a couple of days off of work due to Easter. Having April Fools followed by Easter celebrations as a teacher was HARD haha. I was very overstimulated and was so happy once that clock hit 2 on Thursday. My class was behaving extremely well during Easter celebrations, especially the breakfast we started to day with. We always have boiled eggs and for the last couple of years my mom has been painting the eggs. Some of the kids in my class asked beforehand if she was going to do that again, because they loved it so much the last time. Isn’t that cute?! But even though there was a relaxed atmosphere in the class, I still hate those unregulated days. My adhd cannot handle it, I get stressed from everything straying from normal and I was so tired by the end of the end. I spend basically all of Friday in my bed, I just got out of it to go ride my horse haha. Today I’m at an amusement park with my brother and then tomorrow I will probably regret that as I’m back to work ;).
No new eARC’s this time!
I’m very close to finishing Dune and after that I will be starting Dune Messiah. Before going to sleep I’m also listening to Throne of Glass and I’m close to finishing that one as well. I also just tried getting back into an ebook, Mr & Mrs Dixon Hide a Body, I’m 73% in and I hope to finish it this week.
I have become obsessed with Heated Rivalry and watched it twice already. Another show I became obsessed with is The Hunting Party, I’m close to getting caught up. And lastly I’m watching the new season of XO, Kitty!
This month we’re getting a new Noah Kahan album, so I’m currently listening to his discography on repeat haha.
