Netgalley Next #12

One of our reading goals is working on our Netgalley feedback ratio. Eventually we want to get it to 80%. And to help motivate us we decided to do this new post every week. We pick three of our eARCs and based on the first line, paragraph, or page we decide which one we’ll read next. Let’s take a look at today’s picks for this week’s Netgalley Next!

Book Tour| Dad’s Girlfriend and Other Anxieties – Kellye Crocker

Like I said earlier this week I love learning more about authors behind the books I love. So I get to again today during my stop on the tour for Dad’s Girlfriend and Other Anxieties hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. Kellye Crocker took time to answer some of my questions for the interview I’m sharing today. Keep on reading more about Dad’s Girlfriend and Other Anxieties and the author behind this story.

Down the TBR Hole #88

My last Down the TBR Hole post ended with 926 books on my want to read shelf. I’m starting this one with 923 books. So for a second time in my Down the TBR Hole history, I’m starting my post with less books than the time before.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Mini Reviews | The Good Daughter & Eight Perfect Murders

I recently listened to the audiobooks for two mystery thrillers. The perfect books to read in October in my opinion haha. Although I have to admit, I like reading them year round. You can catch me on the beach reading a very dark book and I will be extremely happy. I wanted to share my thoughts on both, but don’t have a lot to say. So I have two mini reviews for you today, let’s jump in!

Bookish Item| November TBR

We have ten days left in the month, so I’ve been thinking about what I want to read in November. I have some e-arcs to get to and I’m participating in Netgalley November, so I’m hoping to read quite a bit of my Netgalley books. So keep on reading to see my November TBR.

Book Tour| The Stars in Their Eyes – Kristy Gardner

It’s always interesting to get to know the authors behind the books we’re curious about. So I was really excited when I got an author interview for The Stars in Their Eyes book tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours. Kristy Gardner was kind enough to take time to answer some questions I had for her. Keep on reading to find out more about this book and author!

Tag | All About Halloween Book Tag

We’re getting closer to Halloween and I thought it would be fun to do another Halloween tag. I found this one over at Zezee’s but it looks like the creator CatFairy Books’s blog isn’t available to link back to anymore. This is not a very long tag but hopefully you find it fun nonetheless, let’s jump in!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Jump – Brittney Morris

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Jump – Brittney Morris”

TTT #259| Series I’d Like to Start

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is favorite words. Once again, this isn’t really a topic for me. In a few weeks when it’s not my TTT there is a topic I think looks like fun. Series I’d Like to Start/Catch up on/Finish are the options and I’m going to go with series I’d like to start. I’ve talked a lot about the series I need and want to catch up on/finish. So let’s take a look!
