I recently listened to the audiobooks for two mystery thrillers. The perfect books to read in October in my opinion haha. Although I have to admit, I like reading them year round. You can catch me on the beach reading a very dark book and I will be extremely happy. I wanted to share my thoughts on both, but don’t have a lot to say. So I have two mini reviews for you today, let’s jump in!

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Bookish Beginnings on Friday| The Society For Soulless Girls – Laura Steven
I’ve loved promoting books I’m excited about and have received e-arcs of. One I recently got was The Society For Soulless Girls by Laura Steven. This author wrote one of my favorite books, The Exact Opposite of Okay, and I’m excited about this YA thriller with a supernatural twist.
This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that.
