Review Blast| The Teaching Hours – Sara Ney

Sports romance is definitely a favorite genre of mine. How to Date a Douchebag is a series I haven’t read everything from (The Lying Hours), but have definitely enjoyed what I’ve read. The Teaching Hours is a novella in this series that was previously in the Team Player 2 anthology. Today I want to share my review of this novella.

A big thanks to the author and WIldfire Marketing Solutions for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review| Every Heart a Doorway – Seanan McGuire

I’ve seen the Wayward Children books all over the place in the bookish community and thought the covers were stunning. For some reason, I never got around to picking them up, even though I wanted to. A friend of mine and the creator of the TBR & Beyond group set up a group read for this series. Every Heart a Doorway is the first book and I’m mad at myself for not picking up this book sooner! Isabelle already read and reviewed this, click here for her review.

Review| Aru Shah and the Song of Death – Roshani Chokshi

In 2018 I read Aru Shah and the End of Time and really loved it! The sequel, Aru Shah and the Song of Death, was released last year, but I haven’t gotten around to it. Tomorrow I’m participating on the blog tour for the third book, so it was time to read and review the second book. Keep on reading to find out what I thought about this book!

Review| Fae’s Deception – M. Lynn & Melissa A. Craven

I love fantasy and faeries are always fun to read about. So I didn’t have to take a lot of time to decide to give Fae’s Deception a try. This is the first book in the Queens of the Fae series and it was a lot of fun. Keep on reading for my full review!

A big thanks to the authors for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review Blast| Wild for You – Kendall Ryan

If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, I don’t think I have to mention that I’m a fan of Kendall Ryan’s books. The Hot Jocks series has been a lot of fun (Playing for Keeps, All the Way, Trying to Score, Crossing the Line & Down and Dirty). Wild for You is the next book in the series and released yesterday. Today I want to tell you what I thought of this book!

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review Blast| A Slice of Love – Teagan Hunter

Teagan Hunter is a go to author for me when I need a laugh and a good romance. Even though her stories can be serious at times, there are always funny/lighter moments mixed in. The Slice series has been a lot of fun so far and I’ve reviewed them all up until now (A Pizza My Heart, I Knead You Tonight & Doughn’t Let Me Go).

This week the novella, A Slice of Love, was released. It was first found in the anthology Team Player 2, but can now be bought seperately. A big thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Review| Dance of Despair – Kara S. Weaver

Bookish friends are the best and even more so when they write books that you love. A really good friend of mine wrote her first book last year, Crown of Conspiracy, and I loved it. I’m a bad friend, because I still need to write that review, but that will change in the near future. The second book, Dance of Despair, came out at the end of February and it was so good.

This is a sequel, so I’ll do my best to give you all of my thoughts without any spoilers. I want you to be able to read the first book and experience all the feels before diving into this one. So let’s take a look at my review!

Review| Deadly First Day – Emily Kazmierski

Books that take place at school or at boarding schools are something I love to read. If you add a little mystery and romance, I’ll definitely give it a chance. Deadly First Day, the first book in the Embassy Academy series, checks off all of those boxes. With the sequel releasing later this month, I thought it was the perfect time to review Deadly First Day!
