My last Show Sunday post was about my Crunchyroll to watch list, but that was only a small part of it. I thought it would be fun to share some more anime on that to watch list. There is a ton on there and these are just a couple of the anime I would love to watch soon. Let’s take a look! Continue reading “Show Sunday | My Crunchyroll To Watch List Part 2”
The Hemlock Queen – Hannah F. Whitten
When I was reading The Foxglove King in February I was really enjoying myself and decided that I couldn’t wait for the sequel. So while I was reading, I requested The Hemlock Queen on Netgalley. I was excited that I was approved. The Hemlock Queen released on April 9th, and today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought!
Be aware, this is a sequel, I’ll try to keep my review spoiler free, but the synopsis could spoil a bit of book one. Also, a big thank you to Netgalley and Orbit for providing me with an eARC to read and review. This doesn’t influence my opinion in any way.
Bookish Beginnings on Friday | Until We Shatter – Kate Dylan
We have a lot of eARC’s and we want to promote them a little bit more. So we decided to do some more Bookish Beginnings On Friday. Today I wanted to share the beginning of Until We Shatter by Kate Dylan. This is one of my most recent eARC’s and I’m excited to see how it starts. Let’s take a look! Continue reading “Bookish Beginnings on Friday | Until We Shatter – Kate Dylan”
Tag| Try a Chapter: Netgalley Edition Part 12
After Isabelle did the try a chapter tag recently, it reminded me about this one. It’s a great one to figure out what book you want to read. Or if you do the Netgalley edition of this tag to find out if you still want to read an older eARC (we have been blogging for almost 7 years) or what upcoming eARC we want to start with.
Today I’ll be reading the first chapter of three upcoming releases I have eARCs of. I want to read all of these, so let’s see which one catches my attention the most.

WWW Wednesday #62
It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
TTT #341 | Authors I’d Love a New Book From
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Authors I’d Love a New Book From. I like this topic! But it is one I have to think about for a bit. There are some obvious answers of course but hopefully also some less obvious ones. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “TTT #341 | Authors I’d Love a New Book From”
5 On My TBR| Coming of Age
As we’ve mentioned before, one of our most important reading goals of is shrinking our physical TBR’s. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books we still have or what subjects to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This week’s topic is poetry. That’s a problem for me, because I’m not a poetry reader. Last week’s theme is coming of age and I love those stories, so let’s see what stories I still have on my TBR.
Royal Update #225
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #225”
Down the TBR Hole #127
I’m still a bit ahead with writing my posts, so I’m actually writing this one a week before the previous one will be posted online. Since my last post, I have read one of the books on my want to read shelf, so we’re starting off with one book less than last time.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Bookish Item | Series I Wanted to Finish in 2023, Did I Do So?
I was looking at some of the older posts I wrote and one of the posts was about book series I wanted to finish in 2023. It’s hard to believe but I actually finished a couple of series lately. So I thought it would be fun to see which of these I did manage to finish. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Series I Wanted to Finish in 2023, Did I Do So?”
