TTT #227| Books On My Spring 2022 TBR Part 1

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is books with your favorite trope/theme. I’ve recently done a couple of those with romance books, so I decided to do next week’s post instead. Here are ten books on my Spring 2022 TBR. Hopefully I actually read them this time, haha.

Looking Back at Our Bookhauls | February 2021

Now that we’ve talked about what we read and bought last month it’s time for the scary part of the new month. We try and keep ourselves accountable, so it’s time for a new Looking Back at Our Bookhauls. What did we collect in our February 2021 bookhaul? And more importantly, did we read them? Bookish Beginnings on Friday | Gallant – V.E. Schwab

Candyce wanted to do some more Bookish Beginnings to promote some of the eARC’s we have so last week she shared the start of So This Is Ever After. And I figured it would be great to do Gallant today as we’re both reading that eARC as well. We love V.E. Schwab so this was a very highly anticipated release.

This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. Continue reading “Bookish Beginnings on Friday | Gallant – V.E. Schwab”

Book Tour| Turning – Joy L. Smith

Today I’m back with an author interview with Joy L. Smith. This author wrote the book Turning that released a few days ago that sounds amazing! I was honored to be able to interview her for the tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours this week. Keep on reading for the interview and to read more about Turning!

Review| Girls of Paper and Fire – Natasha Ngan

Do you ever read a book and think why did it take me so long to read this? I’ve had that quite often, but most recently with Girls of Paper and Fire. I meant to read this quite some time ago during a group read, but ended up sick and just never picked it back up. I’m glad to say I did finally read this and want to talk about this book and my thoughts today!

Please be aware that this book deals with many difficult subjects, so please make sure you look this up before reading.

WWW Wednesday #3

It’s been two weeks and I’ve decided it was time again for another WWW Wednesday. I’ve read quite a few books since my last post, so I won’t mention them all today. Our February wrap up comes online later today, so it would be a bit much to talk about all of them twice.

So it’s time for the first WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?
