Bookhaul | February 2021

It’s March 1st which means it’s time to look back at last month. How many books did we add to our shelves? How mad is our bank account? Keep on reading to see our February bookhaul!

Candyce

February was actually a good month for me. I added a total of 4 books to my shelves and they weren’t even all technically all from February. I had 1 pre-order from January, the book from the January Illumicrate, 1 ARC and I bought one book. Let’s see what I got!

The Ex Talk – Rachel Lynn Solomon

After reading Today Tonight Tomorrow not too long ago I decided I wanted to read more by this author. Her newest book The Ex Talk released at the end of January and sounds like a lot of fun. I’m a big fan of enemies to lovers stories, so I’ll read this one soon!

Winter’s Orbit – Everina Maxwell

Winter’s Orbit was the book in Illumicrate for January. The book is so pretty and sounds interesting too. I just mentioned wanting to read more scifi and this is another one I can add to that list. It’s gotten some amazing reviews so far, so I’m excited to see what I’ll think when I read it!

Magic Mutant Nightmare Girl – Erin Grammar

I’ll be participating in the tour for Magic Mutant Nightmare Girl hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours and I was really lucky to receive a physical ARC. The cover is really colorful and I’m excited to sit down and read it. My review will be posted this month!

Kill Joy – Holly Jackson

I loved the first two books in the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and was excited when I saw that there was going to be a novella. Kill Joy was a World Book Day book, but I found the paperback on Amazon. It was only 3 euros, so I ordered it right away. It’s not that long, so it’ll take no time at all to read it!

One of my goals this year was to only buy books with the money I put into my savings account whenever I finish a physical book from my TBR or an ARC. So this month I only both one book! And I’m really happy with that and I hope I can continue it this year.

Kill Joy – Holly Jackson

Like Candyce mentioned, this is a World Book Day book but we managed to get it for just a couple of euros. I love this series and this novella sounds like so much fun. My plan is to read it this month and I think I could read it in just a day. Can’t wait to pick it up!

So those are the new books we added to our shelves this month! What books did you get in February? Any that we should read? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
