Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story, and I found it over at Howling Libraries. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 15 books at a time so lets get started!
Today is my spot on the blog tour for I Dare You by Ilsa Madden-Mills. I’m a big fan of sports romances, so this one sounded perfect. The main character is geeky like me, so I knew it would be fun. If you want to know what I thought of this book, keep on reading. Also, stick around after the review, there is a tiny excerpt waiting for you.
I saw this beauty of a book in a couple of places and was really intrigued! The title, The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, sounds pretty ominous and the synopsis is quite interesting. When I came across it on Netgalley I requested it but totally forgot about it after not being accepted for a while. I grabbed it at the bookstore a couple of times, put it in my online basket but never actually ended up buying it since it’s an adult thriller and those hardcovers are expensive! Imagine my surprise, and delight(!), when all of a sudden I did get approved for a copy on Netgalley. I started reading immediately and here’s my review for you all. Enjoy reading! This author is still pretty new to me, but I read Cut Straight not too long ago. After reading that I was really hoping that we would get books about the other characters. My wish came true! Today is the cover reveal for Cut Loose. The second book in this series. Francisca was hilarious, so I hope she gets a happily ever after.
It’s a busy day on the blog today, because there is a lot of exciting book news. Today I get to help share the cover reveal of One Baby Daddy by Meghan Quinn. So let’s go take a look at the cover and what the book will be about.
I have talked about Bittersweet by Carmen Jenner and Lauren McKellar before, but today it’s time for my review. If you want to know what I thought of this book, keep on reading!
A couple of days ago I saw a really fun video on Tashapolis’s youtube channel and thought it would be so fun to do as well. This video was all about her ranking the Marvel movies leading up to Infinity War. After watching that I was really excited to watch the 4 Marvel movies I hadn’t yet and actually ended up watching 3(!) that day! I watch the last one yesterday and today I bring you all me ranking the marvel movies. Before starting this post I did not realize how hard this was and it took me quite a while to be honest! It’s been forever since I watched some of these so that definitely made it harder but in the end I came up with the following ranking. Continue reading “Fangirl Friday | Ranking the Marvel Movies”
Earlier this week Bro Code by Kendall Ryan was released. Today is my spot on the blog tour. Was Kendall Ryan able to do it again? Keep reading to find out!
Yesterday we showed all the books we read last month in our April Wrap Up. Today we have all the books we bought this month! Will this be another month filled with books, books, books? Or did we actually contain our book buying for once? Read on and find out in our April Bookhaul. Continue reading “Bookhaul | April”
Tradition by Brendan Kiely isn’t a book that I have heard a lot about, but when I read the sign up for the blog tour I had to sign up. This book hits home when it comes to subjects in society these days. I was curious to see how this author wrote about these subjects. To start off my post today I want to thank the author, the fantastic flying book club and the publisher for giving me a copy to read and review. If you want to see what I thought of the book, keep on reading!
