Candyce and I decided we wanted to try the 52 prompt bingo by Beat the Backlist! Two weeks ago I shared my tentative TBR for the first 26 prompts. And today I’m back with the second half. Almost immediately I realised I should’ve looked at all the prompts at the same time because some of the books I used last time are actually perfect for this weeks prompts haha. However, I made something of it ;). So let’s take a look!

Bookish Item | Candyce’s 2021 Beat the Backlist Bingo Part 1
We’re at the beginning of December, so it’s time (for me at least) to start thinking about reading goals for next year. My backlist is one that has been on my reading goals list for the past few years and could still be a lot less than it is now. I’ve done better at reading backlist books though this year (even though only 19 of them were on my shelf before the beginning of the year).
I recently saw the announcement for Beat the Backlist Bingo 2021. There are options for a 24 or 52 prompt bingo. So two books a month or one a week. I’m going to be a bit ambitious and go for the 52 bingo. So here’s part 1 of my possible TBR of this bingo. Keep on reading to find out more!

Bookish Item | Isabelle’s 2021 Beat the Backlist Bingo Part 1
Candyce and I started thinking about our reading goals for next year and came across the bingo from Beat the Backlist. We always try to read more and more of our backlist books and this year we want to try the Beat the Backlist Bingo. There are 2 options, one with 24 prompts and one with 52. I’m going to be super ambitious and try to do the bingo with 52 prompts. Candyce and I both wrote two posts with all the prompts and the books we think we’ll use for them. Officially you can use any book published before 2021 but I want to use only books I’ve gotten before 2021. Let’s jump in! Bookish Item | December TBR
I can’t believe I’m already thinking about what I want to read the last month of this year! In many ways 2020 has flown by, but it’s also gone by incredibly slow. Hopefully 2021 turns out to be an amazing for everyone! But first let’s talk about what I want to read next month in my December TBR!
Bookish Item | Current Series I’m Caught Up With
Candyce and I wrote a couple of blogposts about the book series we are reading or really want to read. And I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the series I’m reading and are actually caught up with! When I came up with this idea, I was caught up with a lot more than I am currently… To be honest, I’m afraid to look haha. Let’s look together!
I only picked series with at least two books published! Continue reading “Bookish Item | Current Series I’m Caught Up With”
Bookish Item| My Boyfriend Chose My TBR
Since we’ve been blogging I’ve seen different posts where bloggers let their boyfriends choose their TBR. I thought it was a fun idea, but never gave it a try. I saw another post recently and decided to give it a go. So here’s the first time my boyfriend chose my TBR. Let’s take a look!
Bookish Item | Netgalley Books I Need to Read (And Already Own)
Isabelle and I were talking recently about our Netgalley books. I still have to review so many and I’m failing terribly at my goal to get my feedback ratio to 80% this year. That’s when I started things about the books I’ve got on Netgalley and need to read. I already own a lot of these physically now as well. Let’s take a look at which ones have already appeared on my shelves before reading my e-arc! Hopefully this will motivate me to prioritize these.

Bookish Item | More Authors on My TBR I Want to Try
About two months ago I wrote a post about some of the authors on my TBR I really wanted to try. I’m ashamed to say I still haven’t read any of their books haha. But I do have another list of authors on my TBR I want to read haha. These are all books I’m quite excited for and I hope to pick these books up soon! Bookish Item| November TBR
My reading month in October turned out completely different than planned. A lot of my TBR was thrown out the window. I’ve noticed the pressure of reading for deadlines was starting to get to me and I need to let that go a bit. So my November TBR still has a few ARCs, but I’ll be reading a bit more freely as well. I’m letting myself be more of a mood reader, so let’s see what my November plan will be.
Bookish Item | #MGtakesonthursday : The Trials of Morrigan Crow – Jessica Townsend
Normally we do tags on Thursdays, but lately both of us have been having a harder time finding tags we want to do or think are fun. That’s when I stumbled upon this new bookish meme: #MGTakesOnThursday created by BookCraic. Middle grade books have become a bigger part of our TBR, so this looked like a lot of fun. Let’s take a look at what this is all about! Continue reading “Bookish Item | #MGtakesonthursday : The Trials of Morrigan Crow – Jessica Townsend”
