As booklovers, there never is a month that goes by that we don’t add books to our collection. Today we want to share our July bookhaul. Were we good? Or did we at a lot to our collection?
I was a bit sceptical about this series after reading The Affiliate. Romance was a bit too much of the story, but The Bound started fixing that. Then I got to The Consort and it just blew me away! This book is action packed from the start. I don’t know why I waited so long to read this series.

Yesterday my review of The Affiliate came online. Today I am back with my review for the second book in the Ascension series. The Bound starts off where the first one ended. I had some issues with the first book. Does this continue in The Bound or have things changed?

K.A. Linde is an author I only know for her romances. I knew she had a fantasy series, so when I saw the sign up to review her fantasy series I had to give it a chance. The Affiliate is the first book in the Ascension series. Thanks for the author, publisher and Inkslinger PR for the chance to read and review.
Gunslinger Girl wasn’t a book that was top priority on my TBR. To be honest, I’ve never read a Western before and that kind of held me back. I did hear a lot of good things about it though. TBR & Beyond had this book as a group read. There was even a chat with the author, so I gave the book a try.
