Down the TBR Hole #153
We’re starting with the same amount of books on our want to read shelf, but as long as I’m not adding to the shelf, I’m happy!
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Hobby Hub | Apple Arcade: Is It Worth It?
Two months ago I wrote a post about Apple Arcade, I had a free month to try it out and today I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about it. By now I have played games through Apple Arcade for 2 months and I have made a decision about what to do with my subscription. So let’s take a look! Continue reading “Hobby Hub | Apple Arcade: Is It Worth It?”
Bookish Item| August TBR
I’m really becoming a broken record, but it’s crazy how fast 2025 is going! Next week is the beginning of August! Because of that it’s time to talk about my August TBR. I will say I did a very bad job with my July TBR, haha. These are still always fun to create though, so let’s take a look at the books I’m hoping to read in August!
Trope Thursday | My Least Favorite Tropes
I have done a couple of ‘Trope Thursday’ posts and all of them have been about tropes I love. Either in general, or lists of books that fit those tropes. Today I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the tropes I dislike. There are a couple I really hate, but I do think I could also fill multiple lists with tropes I simply do not like. Today I wanted to talk about some of the ones I like the least, so let’s jump in! Continue reading “Trope Thursday | My Least Favorite Tropes”
Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Ballad of Falling Dragons – Sarah A. Parker
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | The Ballad of Falling Dragons – Sarah A. Parker”
Tag| Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag 2025 Part 2
We’re halfway through the year and I’ve done my reading goals update, so that means it’s time for the Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag. Isabelle did her 2025 tag recently, and I though it’d be fun to do this one as well. So let’s take a look at my answers!

Show Sunday | First Impression: Hacks
I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and wanted to watch an easy, funny show that wouldn’t force me to think too much. A show like Nobody Wants This or Running Point. That’s when I came across Hacks. After watching the first 2 episodes I wanted to share my thoughts, so let’s jump in!

Review| Not Safe for Work – Nisha J. Tuli
We’re in the middle of the summer, so what’s better than a romance that takes place at a work retreat in Hawaii? I would sign up for that! Nisha J. Tuli has written fantasy romances before, but I believe this is her first contemporary romance. Today I want to tell you about this book and what I thought!
A big thank you to Netgalley and Forever for providing me with an ALC to read and review. This doesn’t affect my opinion in any way.
