As we’re nearing the end of 2025, I keep seeing people making their 10 before the end lists. I will be the first person to say that I’m not good at sticking to TBRs, but I can’t resist making my own list, because there are so many books I want to get to before the year is over. Let’s take a look at my 10 before the end!

Power Play – Chelsea Curto
Face Off is one of my favorite hockey romances of 2025 and I really want to continue with this series. Piper is a character we met in the first book and I’m excited about her story. I have a feeling I’m going to want to binge the third and fourth book as well.

Twisted Games – Ana Huang
It’s funny, I read Twisted Love a while ago and I thought I loved it more than I actually did. In my mind I had given the book 5 stars, but when I look back at my review, I only gave that book 3.5 stars. What made me think I loved it more? No clue! So I want to read Twisted Games. I may have to give up on this series if I don’t end up loving book two.

Great Big Beautiful Life – Emily Henry
For some reason I constantly put off books by my favorite authors. I keep saving them for something but I don’t know what. Great Big Beautiful Life has gotten some mixed reviews, but I’m going into this one expecting another fun story that has bookish characters.

Fairydale – Veronica Lancet
This year has been the year of big books for me it seems that Fairydale is one I need to add to my read list in 2025. It seems people either love this one or they don’t. I have a feeling I’m going to love it. A dark gothic historical romance with horror. I know for sure I’ve never read a book like this.

Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark – Jessa Hastings
So even though I don’t love a single character in this series, I’m addicted to these books, haha. There’s so much drama, but I need to see where this story goes. At the moment this is the last book for Magnolia and BJ. I believe Daisy still has a book coming? After this, I will be caught up!

The Nightingale – Kristin Hannah
Everyone raves about Kristin Hannah and I have yet to read a book by her. I know that they’re very emotional and aren’t always easy to read. Many people have suggested I start with The Nightingale, so that’s where I’m going to start.

Keeping 13 – Chloe Walsh
The Boys of Tommen series is another one I keep seeing everywhere! I read Binding 13 earlier this year and it was a roller coaster of emotions, but so good! Keeping 13 is a book I’ve already started and I got to page 166 out of 832. I need to stop getting distracted by other books.

Kiss of the Basilisk – Lindsay Straube
The sequel of Kiss of the Basilisk releases today and I still haven’t read this one. From what I know this is a lot of spice and less plot. That isn’t something I normally love, but this book has me very intrigued. Another big book! It seems to be a trend this year.

Reckless – Lauren Roberts
I’ve been struggling to pick up Reckless. Powerless didn’t live up to the hype for me. A lot of people say that the sequel is a lot better, so I do want to give this book a chance. Hopefully before the end of the year so I can figure out if I want to finish the series or not.

House of Flame and Shadow – Sarah J Maas
After reading 50 pages of House of Flame and Shadow when the book first released, it’s really time for me to sit down and complete this series. Well, as far as I know this is the final book. No one really knows when it comes to Sarah J Maas at the moment, haha. After the ending of the second book, I really need to find out how the story plays out.
So these are ten books I’d love to read before the end of 2025! Well, ten of the many books I’d love to read. There really just isn’t enough time in a day, haha. Have you read any of these? Or what is your ten before the end? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
