It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?

Wisteria – Adalyn Grace
I absolutely loved the first two books in the Belladonna series, but Wisteria was a bit of a let down unfortunately. I felt like not much really happens in the first half of the book and then some things feel really rushed. I’m sad the story ends this way. I’m curious enough to read Holly soon.

Blue Sisters – Coco Mellors
Blue Sisters is a book I kept seeing everywhere and I’ve been wanting to read more literary fiction. I was captivated from the start of this story. All of the sisters are dealing with their sister suddenly dying. None of these characters are perfect, far from it to be honest. They’re all dealing with grief though and love each other in their own way. This book kept me interested from the beginning to the end. I do wish the chapters were a bit shorter though.
What are you currently reading?

Silvercloak -L.K. Steven
I’ve really enjoyed other books by this author and I’ve been curious about her adult debut. The idea of magic being fueled by pain or pleasure is interesting. At the moment I’m about 10% into this story and I’m enjoying myself so far. Saffron is an interesting character.

How to Break My Heart – Kat T. Masen
Best friend’s brother and enemies to lovers are two tropes I really enjoy and I was expecting How to Break My Heart to be a book that would really work for me. Unfortunately, at 80% in, I just don’t feel the connection between these characters. I actually enjoyed the FMC more with a man she meets early on in the story. Hopefully the end makes me love this more, but I don’t have high hopes.
What do you think you’ll read next?

The Ritual – Shantel Tessier
The Ritual is a dark romance I’ve been very curious about. A few of my friends absolutely love it and when I look at reviews it seems you either love or hate this book, haha. I have no clue where I’ll land, but this could definitely become a book I love.

Riftborne – Bree Grenwich & Parker Lennox
I’ll be honest and say I no nothing about Riftborne except that it’s a fantasy romance. A few people I follow online absolutely love this story and a spin off in this world. I’ve been in a fantasy mood lately, so reading this now seems like perfect timing.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
