Can’t Wait Wednesday | Where Dreams Descend – Janella Angeles

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Review| Devil Side – Lacey Dailey

I’m a big fan of romances and if you add a roadtrip with a musician, I have to say you’ll have me very curious. Lacey Dailey wrote Devil Side and published it last year. She decided to give it a makeover and add some changes. Yesterday was the re-release and I had the opportunity to read it!

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

TTT #122 | Books With Single-Word Titles

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books With Single-Word Titles. I have to do a Goodreads deep dive for this as I don’t have that many books that come to mind. But I do really like the topic so let’s see what I came up with. Because it turns out there are a ton of book titles that consist of just one word, I had some trouble just picking 10! Buddy Review | Sorcery of Thorns – Margaret Rogerson

Sorcery of Thorns is a book we both got as e-arc from Netgalley before released and just haven’t gotten around to. And not for lack of trying, haha. There are so many books, too little time! But there was a readalong on Instragram last month and we decided to join! So today can finally tell you what we thought about Sorcery of Thorns.

A big thanks to Netgalley and Simon & Schuster for giving us access to an e-arc of this book!

Bookhaul | February 2020

Yet again another month has passed and that means it’s time to wrap up our month. As usual, we’re going to start out with what books we added to our collections this month! Were we good? Or did we end up adding too much to our shelves once again? Find out in our February bookhaul!

Review| Brix – Brooke O’Brien

Today is release day for Brix by Brooke O’Brien. She isn’t a new to me author and I was really excited for this release. Last year I read Where I Found You, Until I Found You and Now That I Found You and I fell in love with her characters and stories. Her Tattered Heart duet is also amazing (my review will be up soon), so I was all ready for Brix.

I had the honor of being a beta readers for this book and when I read it a second time to write this review, I may have even loved it more than the first time. As you can tell, I’m excited about this book. Keep on reading for my full review!

Bookish Item | Netgalley Backlist Part 4

When I was looking through previous posts to find some inspiration for my next bookish item, I stumbled upon my Netgalley Backlist Part 3. I wrote that at the end of October when my feedback ratio was 62%. It’s been four months and my ratio decreased (oops!), haha. I’m now at 56% and really need to increase this.

Out of the 141 books I’ve been approved for, I’ve written reviews for 80 of these books. That means I still have 61 books to go! Today I’ll talk about six more books on my backlist to motivate myself to get to read them. Let’s take a look at my Netgalley Backlist Part 4!
