Yet again another month has passed and that means it’s time to wrap up our month. As usual, we’re going to start out with what books we added to our collections this month! Were we good? Or did we end up adding too much to our shelves once again? Find out in our February bookhaul!
As usual, I always say I want to add less books to my collection, because I already have so many unread books on my TBR. If you love books like we do, you know that’s very hard with so many amazing releases every month! This month I added a total of 8 books to my collection. Let’s take a look at them (I don’t know what’s up with my pictures, but apologies for the blurry ones)!
Snug: A Collection of Comics About Dating Your Best Friend – Catana Chetwynd
My boyfriend gave me Little Moments of Love for Christmas and I loved having that little collection of Catana Comics. I still love them and enjoy seeing a new one each week. So when I heard about the next little collection that was about to be released, I had to add it to my shelves. My boyfriend and I already read it together. I really recommend it!!
The Library of the Unwritten – A.J. Hackwith
I actually stumbled upon this book on Twitter at the end of January and it sounded like something I needed to read. And then it was all over the place all of a sudden. I kept seeing it on Instagram and Facebook and the reviews were all really good. So I decided to pick up my own copy. Any books that involve books or people that love reading are ones I need to read!
Sorcery of Thorns – Margaret Rogerson
If I’m honest, I actually got the e-arc of this on Netgalley a little while before it released (oops!). Sorcery of Thorns has been on my radar for awhile, but I just hadn’t gotten around to reading it yet. Then I saw a group read on Instagram and knew I needed to give it a go. The paperback was finally out and even though I love my Kindle, I still prefer a physical book while reading.
Foundryside – Robert Jackson Bennett
Yet again another book I’ve been seeing everywhere online. I’ve heard some really positive things about Foundryside and look how gorgeous this cover is. The magic system sounds really interesting and with the sequel coming out soon, it’s a perfect time to give it a go!
Swap’d – Tamara Ireland Stone
I bought Click’d last year when the paperback came out, because a friend really loved this story. I keep on saying I need to read more middlegrade, so it’s a good one to add. The sequel finally came out in paperback at the beginning of February, so hopefully I can read this duo in May when I try and do middlegrade May!
Heartstopper Vol. 1-3 – Alice Oseman
Isabelle has told me quite a few times how cute and good Heartstopper is and I’ve been so curious. It also gets a lot of online praise, so when volume 3 was out I saw it everywhere again and how much people were loving it. I can say I’m halfway through the first one now and am really mad at myself for waiting so long!!
I did pretty good this month! You probably hardly believe me, but I only added two books to my collection this month. And I already read one of them haha. One is graphic novel and the other a manga. My TBR for those is a lot smaller so I feel like it’s justified getting them haha.
Heartstopper vol. 3 – Alice Oseman
Last year the first volume of Heartstopper was my Valentine’s Day read and it was perfect. With the third volume out now I figured this needed to be my Valentine’s Day read this year. And it was once again amazing. I love this series so so much and I can’t wait for the next volume to release.
The Promised Neverland 7 – Kaiu Shirai
This is probably my favorite manga series! I adore these kids and the horrifying world they have to live in has me on the edge of my seat. At this moment I have two unread volumes, which is nice. Now I can read a couple after each other. I might buy some more before continuing on! This is such a suspenseful series <3
So those are the books we got in February! Let us know if you’ve read any of them. Also, we’d love to see what you added to your shelves last month. It’s always nice to see what other readers are loving at this moment.
