Bookish Item | Netgalley Backlist Part 4

When I was looking through previous posts to find some inspiration for my next bookish item, I stumbled upon my Netgalley Backlist Part 3. I wrote that at the end of October when my feedback ratio was 62%. It’s been four months and my ratio decreased (oops!), haha. I’m now at 56% and really need to increase this.

Out of the 141 books I’ve been approved for, I’ve written reviews for 80 of these books. That means I still have 61 books to go! Today I’ll talk about six more books on my backlist to motivate myself to get to read them. Let’s take a look at my Netgalley Backlist Part 4!

The Lost Coast – Amy Rose Capetta

When I read the blurb, I knew I needed this book. I love anything with witches and this sounds like the perfect spooky book I need. Add a pretty cover and I’m sold. Hopefully I enjoy this book as much as I think I will!

The Gamer’s Guide to Getting the Girl – Kristine Scarrow

As a big nerd and havinga boyfriend that loves gaming, the title of this book definitely caught my attention. I’m a contemporary lover and it seems this one is right up my alley. I know this was released in July 2019 and since then it only has a 2.8 average on Goodreads. I’m worried about this one now!

Lily’s Just Fine – Gill Stewart

A summer of unexpected romance is the part of the summary that caught my eye. I’m not really sure if I should expect an emotional story or a life changing one, as long as it’s good I don’t really care! Contemporary books are definitely a go to for me, so fingers crossed this is good!

I Spy the Boy Next Door – Samantha Armstrong

If I remember correctly I Spy the Boy Next Door was a read now book for a bit on Netgalley. When I first read the blurb it definietly sounded interesting. Reading it again now makes me wonder if this story is going to be too much about the boy she’s in love with and not about anything else. Hopefully I’m wrong.

Dirty Irish – Magan Vernon

Dirty Irish sounds like my kind of romance. This book was published by Entangled Publishing and I have to say their books are normally fast and fun reads. Even if I normally can already predict how everything will go before finishing the book.

The Grey Sisters – Jo Treggiari

I remember requesting this one when I was preparing to read more thrillers during the darker months. This never happened, because I get distracted way too easily, haha. This book is pitched for fans of The Cheerleaders and Sadie. Both of these are on my TBR, so I knew I was on the right track for something I’d like.

So these are the next six books still on my Netgalley backlist. I still want to read all six of these! If you’ve read any of these, what book should I start with? I’d love to hear opinions about the books still on my TBR! Hopefully I can get to the 80% ratio this year.
