Review| The Quiet You Carry – Nikki Barthelmess

The Quiet You Carry released last year, but I have to say I missed this release. The next book Quiet No More is releasing soon and I’m on the blog tour. To prepare for that I needed to read The Quiet You Carry first. I have to say this definitely wasn’t an easy book to read and brings its own set of trigger warnings that I will address at the beginning of my review.

A big thanks to the publisher for providing me with an e-copy of this book on Netgalley to read and review!

Down the TBR Hole #37

Like I said two weeks ago when I did a Down the TBR Hole post, for some reason my want to read shelf is getting out of control. So I’ve decided to make sure I do these posts a little more frequently to see if I can get it under control.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Bookish Item| September TBR

It honestly feels like I just sat down to write my post about my August TBR. So it’s really weird to be planning my September TBR. 2020 is going by really fast, but slow at the same time. Even though my August TBR didn’t exactly go as planned, I’m excited about the books I want to read next month. I will be reading a lot of ARCs and have quite a few blog tours, but they all look amazing. Keep reading to find out what books I plan to read in September!

Blog Tour| The Reality of Everything – Rebecca Yarros

If you’ve been following the blog, you know I’m a big fan of Rebecca Yarros. Even though I know her books normally break my heart she has an amazing way with words. The Reality of Everything is the fifth book in the Flight & Glory series. I can tell you that this was another emotional roller coaster ride, but it was amazing. Keep on reading to find out more!

A big thanks to the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review.

Blog Tour| The Beast and The Bethany – Jack Meggitt-Phillips

I’ve mentioned it quite a few times lately, but middle grade books are something I’ve been loving lately. So when I saw the signups for The Beast and The Bethany I knew I had to be a part of that! This book doesn’t release until October, but believe me it’s worth the wait!! Keep on reading for all of my thoughts about this book.

TTT #147| Middle Grade Books On My TBR

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is questions I’d ask my favorite authors, but I’m not really feeling that one this week. So I’ve decided to change the topic. I’ve really been enjoying middle grade books lately, so today I’m going to talk about ten middle grade books on my TBR!
