Each month we take a look at our bookhaul from the previous year to see if we’ve read the books we bought. After that glimpse the year after we don’t really keep an eye on what we’ve read. So we decided to take a look back at 2017 and see how we’re doing! Candyce started us off last week and today it’s my turn. Like Candyce I will only be adding pictures of books I haven’t read yet because this will already be a long post that way ;). Let’s jump in!
I added links to reviews if I wrote them! Continue reading “Bookish Item | 2017 Bookhauls – What Have I Read? Part 2”

Tag | Charmed Book Tag
Charmed is a show that I watched a really long time ago and enjoyed. A TV channel here in The Netherlands started showing the show all over again and I couldn’t resist watching. That made me wonder if there was a book tag and there was, so today it’s time for the Charmed Book Tag. This tag was created by Just Me & My Books. Let’s take a look!

Can’t Wait Wednesday | Better Than the Movies – Lynn Painter
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

TTT #176 | Books On My Spring 2021 TBR
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books On My Spring 2021 TBR. I don’t really make TBR’s for myself as I’m very much a mood reader. However, I do have a couple of books I would like to read soon. So I guess we could call those books my spring tbr ;). Let’s take a look! Continue reading “TTT #176 | Books On My Spring 2021 TBR”

Down the TBR Hole #49
Like I said recently I really want to make it a habit of doing a Down the TBR Hole every other week. It’s been two weeks, so it’s time to see how my Goodreads want to read list is doing and hopefully I can shrink this shelf a bit!
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Buddy Review | The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue – V.E. Schwab
One of the books that made it to a lot of people’s favorites of 2020 list was The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. We both got an eARC and planned on reading it ever since haha. It took us a bit of time, but we finally read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue (after also both getting a physical copy) and today we want to share our thoughts! So let’s jump in. Continue reading “Buddy Review | The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue – V.E. Schwab”
