Each month we take a look at our bookhaul from the previous year to see if we’ve read the books we bought. After that glimpse the year after we don’t really keep an eye on what we’ve read. So we decided to take a look back at 2017 and see how we’re doing! Candyce started us off last week and today it’s my turn. Like Candyce I will only be adding pictures of books I haven’t read yet because this will already be a long post that way ;). Let’s jump in!
I added links to reviews if I wrote them!
In September 2017 I added 7 new books to my collection. I’m not off to a great start with this one haha. Of the 7 books I read 3, unhauled 1 and have 3 left on my TBR.
Read
Tower of Dawn – Sarah J. Maas
Warcross – Marie Lu
Wonder Woman: Warbringer – Leigh Bardugo
Unread
The Red Pyramid – Rick Riordan
Career of Evil – Robert Galbraith
A Breath of Snow and Ashes – Diana Gabaldon
Unhauled
Wicked Like a Wildfire – Lana Popovic
I added 5 new books and 1 graphic novel in October 2017. Not too bad! I read the graphic novel and 2 books. So that leaves us with three more books on my TBR. These are actually all books I’m really excited about so I hope to get to them soon now that they’ve gotten themselves back on my radar.
Read
Monstress vol. 2 – Marjorie Lu

Trust Me, I’m Lying – Mary Elisabeth Summer
Unread

I added 9 new books in November 2017. There were a couple of non-fiction books in there as well and I read very little of those. I still have 5 books on TBR from this haul. Quite a lot! One of them I want to read really badly, some of the others might make their way over unto my unhaul pile.

December is usually pretty bad for my TBR haha. And December 2017 was especially bad haha, I added 20 (!) new books. Of those books, manga and graphic novels I read 11. That leaves 9 of them on my TBR. Some of those I want to read very badly! I hope to cross them off my TBR this year.

It was worse than I expected haha. I thought I would’ve read more books since they’ve been on my TBR for over 3 years. But alas haha. I will have to take a critical look at some of these books because I might never pick them up. Some of the others I want to read soon! Which one should I pick up first according to you? Let me know down below!
Love this post! You still read half of the books which sounds good ?
Thank you!! <3
Some of these books sound awesome! I definitely relate to having books just hanging out on my bookshelf, this makes me think that I need to go through my books again and see what can be given away
Some of the books from your haul sound awesome! I can definitely relate to having books just hanging out on my shelf for years, this post makes me want to go through my shelf and see what can be given away.
They really do, don’t they? Haha, I really do plan on reading them right away when I get them… But it just didn’t happen haha.
I think your stats are better than mine lol. I’m afraid to check my shelves.
Haha, happy to hear I’m not that bad 😉
