Review| Girls of Paper and Fire – Natasha Ngan

Do you ever read a book and think why did it take me so long to read this? I’ve had that quite often, but most recently with Girls of Paper and Fire. I meant to read this quite some time ago during a group read, but ended up sick and just never picked it back up. I’m glad to say I did finally read this and want to talk about this book and my thoughts today!

Please be aware that this book deals with many difficult subjects, so please make sure you look this up before reading.

WWW Wednesday #3

It’s been two weeks and I’ve decided it was time again for another WWW Wednesday. I’ve read quite a few books since my last post, so I won’t mention them all today. Our February wrap up comes online later today, so it would be a bit much to talk about all of them twice.

So it’s time for the first WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Down the TBR Hole #72

It’s been exactly two weeks since my last Down the TBR Hole and I’ve added six books to my want to read list since then. Actually more, because I’ve started reading two (I think it was only two) books from my want to read shelf. So it’s clearly still a good idea for me to be doing these posts.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Bookish Beginnings On Friday| So This Is Ever After – F.T. Lukens

Like I said two weeks ago I have quite a few ARCs I’m excited about and that I want to promote a bit more doing Bookish Beginnings on Friday. Today I want to talk about So This Is Ever After by F.T. Lukens.

This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that. Continue reading “Bookish Beginnings On Friday| So This Is Ever After – F.T. Lukens”
