WWW Wednesday #5

I never thought I’d like writing reading updates as much as I do, so it’s definitely something I’ll be doing every other week. I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks!

So it’s time for the first WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

TTT #230 | Book Titles That Ask Questions

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is 21st Century Books I Think Will Become Classics but I wasn’t really feeling that one to be honest. So I decided to look at some of the older topics and Book Titles That Ask Questions did speak to me! Let’s see which books I picked. Continue reading “TTT #230 | Book Titles That Ask Questions”

5 On My TBR| Owned for 2 Years Part 2

After looking back at my 2018 bookhauls to see what I’ve read I decided it may be a good idea to do the same 5 On My TBR as Isabelle last week. She talked about 5 books that she’s owned for 2 years, but hasn’t read. So I decided to give that a go as well! 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is actually published before 2000. I honestly don’t have many unread books on my shelves published before that year. That’s why I decided to do the same topic as Isabelle. Let’s talk about 5 books I’ve owned for 2 years, but still haven’t read!

Show Sunday | HBO Max Watchlist – Movies

Last week I shared the tv shows I have on my HBO Max to watch list. It was a lot of fun looking through all the shows they have available! Today I want to share the movies that made it onto my to watch list. There will be a lot of rewatches as I saw some amazing (older) movies I love. Of course there will also be more than enough movies I haven’t seen yet. So let’s jump in and take a look! Continue reading “Show Sunday | HBO Max Watchlist – Movies”

Review| Hate – Tate James

I think 2022 is going to be a year that I try out some genres I haven’t tried before. A few of my friends have been reading reverse harem romances and I’ve seen the Madison Kate series by Tate James everywhere. The first book Hate has been on my Kindle for months, but I finally got around to reading it. As I’m typing this I’m almost done with the second book, so I think that’s a little hint about how I felt about this book. Keep on reading to find out more about Hate and what I thought!

Bookish Beginnings on Friday| Gone Dark – Amanda Panitch

As I’ve said recently I really want to start promoting more ARCs I’m excited about. Last week I did a post about Gone Dark and today I want to look at the beginning of this book and what I’m expecting.

This meme was created by Rose City Reader. The idea is to post the first sentence or so of the book you’re currently reading. After that you talk about your initial thoughts about the sentence, book or anything to do with that.

Bookish Item | 2018 Bookhauls – What Have I Read? Part 2

We look back at our bookhauls from the previous year every month, but we also thought it’s be interesting to look back at a few years ago to see how much we’ve actually read. Hopefully this will also be motivation to pick up books we still haven’t read or maybe even do an unhaul. This will probably be a pretty long post, haha. Isabelle posted her 2018 bookhauls last week. Now it’s my turn. Keep on reading to see how many of the books I’ve read that were put in my shelves in 2018!
