We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Finally life is getting more exciting again, so to say! I went to dinner with a friend, had a volleyball tournament with colleagues, had a competition with my horse, a surprise 30th birthday party for a friend and really good weather. While it was somewhat tiring every now and then, I did have a lot of fun. It’s so good to be able go out again and I have high hopes for this summer!

No new eARC’s but I am close to finishing one so at least I’m working on my feedback ratio haha.

I’ve finally finished some books I again! The Foxhole Court, The Raven King and The Dragon Reborn. I’m so happy to be reading some more and hope I can continue this. The last book in the All For The Game series is also almost finished and I’m still reading Gallant. I’ve started the next book in the Wheel of Time series as my audiobook. No plan after those yet, we’ll see if I can keep up with this.

There wasn’t that much bookish news, not any that grabbed my attention anyway!

I’ve started to catch up on a couple of shows, mainly Queen of the South and Roswell, New Mexico. Since I’ve been quite busy, I haven’t been watching that many shows recently.

I found this playlist on Spotify and really enjoyed it! Put it on shuffle and just listen while working on my studies. This one is really working for me.
