After looking back at my 2018 bookhauls to see what I’ve read I decided it may be a good idea to do the same 5 On My TBR as Isabelle last week. She talked about 5 books that she’s owned for 2 years, but hasn’t read. So I decided to give that a go as well! 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is actually published before 2000. I honestly don’t have many unread books on my shelves published before that year. That’s why I decided to do the same topic as Isabelle. Let’s talk about 5 books I’ve owned for 2 years, but still haven’t read!

To do this post and stick to books I’ve owned for two years I decided to take a look at my March 2020 bookhaul. There are definitely five books on here that I still haven’t read, haha.

The Love Hypothesis – Laura Steven

I’m actually really surprised I haven’t read The Love Hypothesis yet. Laura Steven wrote two of my favorite books The Exact Opposite of Okay and A Girl Called Shameless. Isabelle actually read The Love Hypothesis not too long ago and loved it! So I know I will as well. A LGBT romantic comedy? Yes, please! This definitely sounds like a perfect summer read.

The Kingdom of Back – Marie Lu

In all honesty The Kingdom of Back definitely caught my eye because of the stunning cover! I just love looking at it. The Kingdom of Back is a mix of historical fiction and fantasy. This sounds like a magical story with a pair of siblings that are very close.

The Near Witch – V.E. Schwab

V.E. Schwab is one of my favorite authors and I’m still working through her backlist. The Near Witch was her first book I believe, but it got a new cover and I loved these sprayed edges. I really need to add this to my TBR this year.

Chain of Gold – Cassandra Clare

Chain of Gold is a book that has now been mentioned in many blog posts and TBR posts. It’s really time that this gets read. I love this world and have been so excited for this trilogy. The sequel is also on my shelf, so it’s just time, haha.

A Sprinkle of Sorcery – Michelle Harrison

I love reading middle grade books and really need to read more. A Sprinkle of Sorcery is the second book in the A Pinch of Magic series. The first book was quite the adventure and I love these stunning covers. I can’t wait to see where this story takes these three sisters next.
