We’re probably going to be repeating ourselves all year long, but it does seem like January really flew by. As usual, it’s the beginning of the new month and it’s time to talk about the books we read last month. How did our first month of 2023 go? Keep on reading of January wrap up to find out!

WWW Wednesday #31
It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
TTT #274 | Series I’d Like to Catch Up On
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is a Freebie so I decided to go with series I’d like to catch up on. A little while ago I did a TTT about series I’d like to start and just before that I wrote a post about series I’d like to finish. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “TTT #274 | Series I’d Like to Catch Up On”
5 On My TBR| Mystery
As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
As Isabelle said last week, it’s been awhile since we’ve done this post. There are new prompts, so it’s time to do this one every so often. This week’s topic is mystery. I’m going to combine this with thrillers, because I have quite a few I want and need to read.
Royal Update #161
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #161”
Book Tour| Going Dark – Melissa de la Cruz
I’ve said this before and I probably will again, but I love learning more about the books that I love or am interested in. Today I have an interview with Melissa de la Cruz about her book Going Dark. This is my stop on the book tour hosted by TBR and Beyond Tours.
Keep on reading to find out more about the book and the questions I asked Melissa!

Down the TBR Hole #94
Thankfully I’m still doing pretty good with my want to read shelf. Since my last Down the TBR Hole post I have actually taken a book off of my want to read shelf. Let’s see if I can get a few more off before the end of this post.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Review | False Witness – Karin Slaughter
At the end of 2022 I got back to reading one of my absolute favorite writers; Karin Slaughter. For me there is no better adult thriller writer and I have been a fan for about 15 years now. So I’m trying to make my way through the unread books I still had and today I want to talk about False Witness. Let’s jump in!

Bookish Item | Feburary TBR
It’s the last Friday of the month, so it’s time to start talking about what I want to read in February. My TBR was very ambitious in January, but I have to say I’m doing better than I expected, so let’s see what I want to read next month. There are quite a few buddyreads planned, so let’s take a look at my February TBR!
