As you might know, I currently spend quite some of my time gaming. I love the new computer setup I have and I can’t wait to design the gaming space in my new house. Just like I’m a book hoarder, I also love owning games. So I have a long wishlist on Steam. Currently I have 50 games on my wishlist, so I thought it would be fun to share a small portion of that wishlist with you all. And maybe I’ll share more of it in later posts. So let’s take a look!

Edelweiss Next #3
It’s been nine months since I posted the first Edelweiss Next post after we started our Netgalley Next item every week (which I haven’t done in awhile either, haha). It’s not that I haven’t had any e-arcs for these posts, but there have just been other things to talk about. I’ve added some amazing e-arcs to my Kindle recently that I got on Edelweiss and I can’t choose what to read next, so here are three I really want to read soon. Hopefully the opening lines/paragraphs will help me decide!
Wrap Up | July 2023
Summer is flying by and we’re already in August! Yesterday we shared our new books in the July Bookhaul and today it’s time to take a look at all that we’ve read in July. Did we do a good amount of reading? Let’s take a look and find out.

Bookhaul | July 2023
How is it already August 1st?!? We still think this year is flying by! That being said with the start of a new month it means looking back at the previous one. Today we want to talk about the books we added to our shelves in July! How did we do? Keep on reading for our July bookhaul to find out!
TTT #300 | Forgotten Backlist Titles
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is forgotten backlist titles. There are definitely a few backlist books I feel should get more attention and be talked about more. Let’s talk about those today!
5 On My TBR | Podcasts
As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This week’s topic is animals, but I have to be honest I can’t seem to think of anything for this post. So I decided to make my own topic this week. I don’t listen to podcasts myself, but I love when the book has a character with a podcast. So that’s my topic this week!
Royal Update #186
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #186”
Down the TBR Hole #106
Without realizing it my want to read shelf has decreased my another two books since my last Down the TBR Hole. Maybe this year will continue to be a success!
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
Review | Never A Hero – Vanessa Len
One of my favorite books of 2022 was Only A Monster. I got an eARC and was interested because of the title but didn’t expect it to be that great. And then the long wait began for the sequel! I was lucky enough to got an eARC again so today I can share my review with you all. Never a Hero releases at the end of August so this is the perfect time to preorder it ;). Let’s jump in!

Bookish Item | August TBR
August is starting next week, so I thought it was time to start thinking about what I wanted to read next month. I’ve still really been enjoying mood reading, but there is a list of books I’ll be reading for book club/buddy reads or just want to read soon. Keep on reading to see what books are on my August TBR!
