WWW Wednesday #49

It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!

So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

TTT #312 | Atmospheric Books

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Atmospheric Books. I love reading books with a great atmosphere. You get pulled into the world and can just picture yourself there. I do think this one is really subjective, so I hope you agree with the ten books I picked. Let’s jump in! Continue reading “TTT #312 | Atmospheric Books”

5 On My TBR| Title Starting with an ‘E’

As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is title starting with an ‘E’. I’ll have to look through my list of unread books for this prompt, but I have a feeling I’ll have at least five books on my TBR that have a title that starts with this letter.

Royal Update #197

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too! Continue reading “Royal Update #197”

Down the TBR Hole #112

Once again I’m starting off this Down the TBR Hole post with the same amount of books on my want to read shelf as at the end of my last post.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | A Court of Wings and Ruin – Sarah J. Maas

My reread of the final book in the original ACOTAR trilogy! When I first read this one there was no talk of more books yet so it definitely felt like a finale. This time around I know what’ll happen next, does that change my view of the book? Let’s dive in!

Bookish Item| Netgalley November 2023

It’s hard to believe we have a little over two months left in 2023! I’ve said it many times this year, but time really is flying by. Last November I participated in Netgalley November and I want to do the same this year. One of my reading goals is to increase my feedback ratio and I haven’t done great the last two months.

So today I want to talk about some of my Netgalley eARCs I’m determined to read next month. Keep on reading to see what my plans are!

Tag | Try A Chapter: Netgalley Edition Part 9

A little while ago I used a try a chapter tag to see if I was still interested in the older eArcs I haven’t read yet. While I was excited for them when I requested them, my reading tastes have changed a bit and some of these books just aren’t for me anymore. I have not nearly enough time to spend it on books I don’t enjoy or I’m not excited about so I have to make some decisions. Let’s see what I think after the first chapter! Can’t Wait Wednesday | Where Sleeping Girls Lie – Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé

We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.

Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Where Sleeping Girls Lie – Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé”

TTT #311| Books with Weather Events

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books with Weather Events/Words in the Title/on the Cover. I’m sure this is easier than I think, but it’s going to be a challenge. Today I want to see if I can find ten books with weather events that are on my TBR. Let’s take a look!
